Children relish viewing 'Bhootnath'

Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, May 24: Javed Khan's Academy of Acting and Modelling had a rollicking time at the screening of the film 'Bhootnath' at a theatre in Bhopal. The children were given VIP treatment at the theatre where a special enclosure was reserved for them. Though initially scared by the beginning sequence of the film, the children slowly warmed up to Banku and his angel Bhootnath. The comedy scenes and the foot tapping songs enthralled the kids and the emotional climax had them in tears. The children thanked filmstar Javed Khan for this unique experience. Bhopal Today Team talked to some of the children to elicit their views.

Nine-year-old Shreya said, 'I likeed the film very much. It has action, suspense and is funny and emotional. Eleven-years-old Shayasta averred, 'I loved the concept of the film. I liked Banku's acting. It is difficult to perform with such big stars but he did it very nicely. I learned that there are really no Bhoots, only angels.

Manish, seven, said, 'All songs were very nice and shot very well. I think this film is a hit'. Similar views were expressed by his friend Kshitij

Anurag, 12 years, said' 'Vivek Sharma has directed the film very well. He has used great imagining power. Films like this inspire me, I think if such a small boy can act really cool then why can't I. My special thanks to Javed for organising the film that encouraged me.

Thirteen-years-old was of the view that 'Banku is very naughty but looks so innocent. Amitabh Bachchan played a great role as a ghost.

Aishwarya (15)said, 'This movie tells us that we should always forgive those who commit mistakes and give them another chance to improve themselves.

Sixteen years-old Rajat said before seeing the film he thought that Bhootnath will be a very childish movie like any other children's film made in India. But I am glad it did not come up to my expectations. It was really a matured film, worth watching. All the actors from Aman to Amitabh, all have poured magic into their performance.

Saleha (14) said, 'Stories revolving around kids and supernatural powers excite me a lot. Wow! Bhootnath excited me a lot. If I had some super hero like Bhootnath, I could easily move around anywhere without pleading with my sister Samah.
