Establishment of sub-stations to cost Rs five crore

Bhopal, May 24: With a view to Improving power distribution in Sironj and Lateri Tahasils of Vidisha district, five sub-stations of 33/11 K.V. each are being established. After establishment of these sub-stations at a cost of Rs five crore, power would be distributed to numerous villages of the Tahasils with full voltage. These works are being undertaken under the scheme to strengthen infrastructure. The improvement in power distribution arrangements has come in the wake of tireless efforts made by Public Relations Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma. The work of one sub-station has already been completed while orders have been issued by Shri Sharma to expedite the work of remaining four sub-stations.

The work of establishing a sub-station at Kaladev in Lateri Tahasil has been completed due to which a marked improvement in power supply has been witnessed at Anarseekla, Pathherchandu, Khurramabad, Khamkhera, Jarsena, Barkhera Ghosi, Kaladev, Titarbarri, Sawankheri and Bamhori villages. Power situation in Narayankhera, Narayanpur Kalan, Sadavta, Meena Umaria, Banarsi Chamar Umaria, Jamner, Keelankheri and Chopna villages connected to Mahoti villages has improved. The work of establishing power sub-station is being under progress at Aligarh Kotra village of Lateri Tahasil. The work to establish 33/11 K.V. power sub-station is also under progress in Chhapu, Bhauria and Ratanbarri villages of Sironj district. Public Relations, Culture and Mineral Resources Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma has instructed officers of MP State Electricity Board to complete the works at the earliest.
