China's intentions not good: Creating trouble at borders

It is a bit difficult to understand the attitude of China towards India. On the one hand it offers hand of friendship and on the other lays claim to Indian land. Recently, China in remote area of Sikkim, on the international border in Finger Tip area, has staked claim refusing to accept the marked boundary. China has threatened that the heaps of stones of border mark would be removed. It is noticeable that earlier it has claimed that real line of control of Arunachal Pradesh belongs to it. Now, continuing its intruding activities officially in an area of Sikkim, China has started disturbance at the borders. In February, it has tried to construct road, but after protests from India it had to stop the road construction work but now it is bent upon removing mark stones. However, according to the experts, Indian Army is capable to defend this area but India needs necessary steps keeping an eye on the neighbour's activities. According to defense experts, China wants to send indications about its real intentions by staking claim to Sikkim areas. This attitude of China should be answered at every level. Tibet-Sikkim's Silk Route has been opened on Monday for bilateral trade after three weeks delay but the first and second crew of Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage was stopped without any reason. Programme of third crew has not been changed. On Thursday bilateral talk of armies on Nathula pass ended without any result. In this meeting taking the issue of Finger Tips area the attitude of China was not only opposed by Indian army officials strictly but also warned the Chinese soldiers not to have eyes on Indian border. China's attitude has been imperialist since beginning. Whereas, in 2003 it had agreed that Sikkim is part of India. However, ignoring the present attitude of China would not be prudence. Keeping in view the activities of China the international community should think over it seriously. Whether it is matter of human rights in Tibet or claim of Indian land or deployment of submarine, China always plays truant and when it is objected it threatens India. The world community should think over all these issues.
