Mumbai change of name
a political stunt |
| If Bombay Stock Exchange is changed to Mumbai Stock Exchange and likewise other "Bombay" word in many other titles / names it may result in funny names! How than "Bollywood" would be required to change? Will it be called "MUMBAIWOOD"? One way to retain "BSE" for "Bombay stock Exchange" is to shift it to Borivali in Mumbai! Than it shall be - Borivali Stock Exchange" ("BSE"].
In any case, change of such a name and such petty matters is a political stunt -these people / parties have no other national or state agenda to do anything good for their country or state but to play with emotions of general public to win sympathies and vote on most illogical thinking that too against the national interest as they feel state / caste / religion etc are above the nation! I need not add such interest cannot supersede the national interest in a democratic world!
