Bhopal, May 20: In the first 20-20 Makhanlal Chaturvedi Cricket tournament being played at the Babe Ali Stadium under the aegis of Jawaharlal Nehru College and Maaz Times ,the Tariq club defeated the Maaz club by 6 wickets and entered the next round.

Skipper Rajesh Kanaujia of Maaz club won the toss and decided to bat. But thls decision proved fatal because the pitch was moist. Opening batsman Bhushan could not stay for long and was caught at a score of 26runs from 15 balls by Vikram. Sunil scored 15runs while Vijay Negi got 8 runs. This led to 64 for 4 wickets.
