Music 'masti' grips youths

Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, May 20: Music has gripped today's youths so much that it keeps reverberating in their minds whether they are roaming, working or eating. Earlier, they used to recall songs and hum them. But now they do not have to do so since very small portable music playing gadgets and software have come to their aid. These include Mobile phone, I-Pods, and walkies. Now these youths need only blue tooth, cord reader and cable and all is set for them to plunge into the world of music.

According to Suresh Nagar, this bliss of course comes with a premium but the music-stung youth do not hesitate to spend something extra to get the facilities and music numbers of their choice. Most of the youth who describe music as their life download it from internet since it is the easiest and cheapest way. But a lot of them turn up at music shops also to satiate their thirst.

According to mobile shop owner Satyendra Jain, most of the youth get songs and music of their choice downloaded on their mobile handset since it always remains with them.

Amit Soni said that 'Music and songs from internet or cord reader can be most conveniently downloaded on the mobile with Blue Tooth and Media Player facility while cable and software is needed to download music on other mobiles, he said. There are some sites on the Internet from where songs and music can be downloaded free of cost. According to Jain, new ring tones are also a great weakness of youths. That is why we keep updating our stock of ring tones every week, he added.

Internet café owner Neeraj told Bhopal Today Team that downloading from Internet can be dangerous as some sites contain viruses. Therefore, youths should upload anti-virus software in their mobiles.
