Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, May 19: The busy life has changed our lifestyle completely. Since our whole system has changed, we have to bear with its bad effects like illness at young age, tension, headache, and the like. Like Einstein said 'there is a reaction for every action', there are remedies to the present day problems. Only thing is that we should change ourselves a little and find some time to practice Yoga. Most of our present day health problems could be solved through practice of Yoga.

The Gayatri Shakti Peeth has organised 5-day Yoga Camp for mental peace and to get rid of the health problems. Let's see if the participants are benefited with the Yoga practice.

Dr. Shankar Patidar is working at Asha Niketan. He has been practicing Yoga since 1970 for mental peace. 'In this world of materialism, what needs most is mental peace. It can be achieved through practice of Yoga. The system was with us since a long time. It is true that Yoga has not been given its place in the society it deserves', he added.

Dr. Sandhya Trivedi (Pandey), lecturer in MVM has given the meaning of Yoga as jointing. 'We get mental peace through Yoga and there is no other medium for the same. Money can buy everything except peace'. According to her Guru Sriram Sharma, Yoga is not only for physical fitness but also for mental peace. 'I have been practicing Yoga for the last four years and I feel better change in me'.

Rama Vanshle is member of Lions Club as well as a social activist. She is 68- years-old. 'Even at this age, I can work for 10 hours a day. I had started practicing Yoga since 1988 and have not stopped it. It has enhanced my energy level and I get mental peace'.

Hemlata Sharma urges everybody to practice Yoga. The reason is that the work pressure and competition has increased considerably. Therefore to be healthy is a must for such persons. And Yoga is the best way to keep one happy and healthy. She said she has been practicing Yoga since last four years. Yoga has benefited me very much as I am free from several diseases. Pranayam, Surya Namaskar and Pawan Chakki Asan were explained today.
