Mayor opens dev works

Bhopal, May 17: Mayor Sunil Sood inaugurated developmental work of concrete roads in different gullies of ward 52 and ward 54 and performed Bhoomi Poojan. Bhopal Municipal Corporation is completing these work with the cost of Rs 6.5 crore.

Sood on Saturday morning visited rural area of Bag Mugalia in the presence of local corporator and chairman of zone No. 10, Barelal Ahirwar. He performed Bhoomi Poojan of a bridge construction.

Now a large number of people of Bag Mugalia, Berkhera Pathani to Laharpur, Amrawad Khurd etc places would go easily after construction of bridge on nullah which connects these areas.

Municipal Corporation is spending around Rs 5 lakh on the construction of this bridge.

Later, Sood inaugurated the development work of cement roads of Krishna Nagar slum near 12 No. Bus stop in the presence of former MLA, PC Sharma.

Meanwhile, Mayor Sood directed the municipal officials to solve drinking water and cleanliness problems of local citizens.

Narayan Singh Parmar, Iswar Singh Chouhan, Aftab Ahmed, Itrat Tahir, Durgesh Sharma, Sher Singh and a large number of local citizens and municipal officials were present on the occasion.
