Firing at borders: Pak intention not good

Till the formation of a democratic government in Pakistan it appeared that its attitude is positive towards India. Joint president of PPP, Asif Ali Zardari had indicated that Pakistan would develop better relations with India. Throwing the disputed matters in dustbin he had expressed his intention to make the bilateral relations good. But recently the Pakistani Prime Minister expressed the necessity of public opinion on Kashmir issue. Gilani had told that the sacrifice for Kashmir would not be useless. Zardari who was ready to leave Kashmir issue for next generation does not hesitate to tell India a better friend, but on some disputed issues his intention is not clear. It seems that Pakistan which is facing financial and internal crisis has same intention as it had earlier. Even today Pakistan does not want that peace should prevail in India. Whereas, India's hands are open for friendship with Pakistan even today and it wants that the Pakistani public may enjoy prosperity and as the second biggest country of South Asia it should pace towards progress. Pakistani army has started disturbing peace at the borders. On Wednesday in Tangdhar area of Kashmir there were exchange of fire from both sides but the firing was started by Pakistani army. Earlier, two days back the Pakistani rangers unnecessarily violated ceasefire agreement and opened fire in Samba area of Kashmir. Meanwhile, a big group had tried to intrude into the area but this was foiled by our army. After Tangdhar incident the army officials called an emergency meeting. Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary also said that India would talk with Pakistan on intruding issue soon. The most important thing is that Pakistani intelligence agency ISI has not changed its attitude towards India. In such incidents the indirect involvement of Pakistan can not be denied. If Pakistan wants to maintain all-round relations with India then it would have to stop supporting terrorists. Along with this it should understand clearly that in this era of development India would be its true friend in moving ahead together. So, Pakistan should maintain peace on borders and it should give up narrow thinking.
