Bhopal, May 16: There are happy moments in everybody's life. Such moments inspires them to do something worthwhile. The moment of receiving of first salary is also very happy one because it is very important in life. It is said that the happy moment of getting first salary does not repeat in anybody's life. To get a decent job is the most difficult these days. The salary comes only after that. In today's 'First Salary' column, the guest is Shalini Bais, working as Assistant Professor at Anand Vihar Women College, Bhopal. According to her, 'My first assignment was at the PG College in Balaghat. At that time I had received only Rs 1800 as my first salary.

In fact the amount was not much but the happiness of getting first salary is something different. When I got the salary I was so happy and felt that I am capable of doing something in life. My father was HOD of a department at the same college. When I told him about receiving of my first salary, he was also happy. I handed over my first salary to my father. He blessed me. The next day he deposited my first salary into my bank account and told me to spend it as and when I please. I spent some amount to enjoy with my friends. And that is the story of my first salary', she concluded.
