Bhopal, May 15: The Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, at the Joint Committee meeting held the other day at Delhi, has sanctioned the plant performance bonus for the year 2007-08 for its workmen. According to an official press statement, the minimum amount of the performance bonus sanctioned is Rs 22000 while the maximum is Rs 55,000. The payment of the bonus would be made by May 19.

According to the release in case of any change in the salary grade of an employee at any point of time during the year due to promotion or otherwise the amount will be paid prorata based on the salary grade for the relevant period.

In case of employees who were not in service during the full year payment as above should be made on prorata basis for the period there were I n service during the year 2007-08. However, this will not be applicable to overseas sites personnel for whom separate orders will be issued, the release added.
