Bhel to build India's largest coal-based power plant 

New Delhi, May 13:
State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals on Monday said it would set up Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plant at Vijaywada with Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGenco).

After making a wave worldwide with unveiling of the cheapest car from India, Tata Motors said on Tuesday that it will consider exporting the Rs 1-lakh car to many promising markets, including the US.
 
Bharti approaches sovereign funds for MTN bid 

New Delhi May 13:
Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel, which is in "exploratory talks" with MTN, has approached West Asian sovereign wealth funds to finance its possible bid for a majority stake in the South African company, says a media report.
 
India , Malaysia to ink railway deal 

Kuala Lumpur May 13:
Giving a boost to the India-Malaysia cooperation, the two countries will ink a $1 billion railway contract, which has been bagged by an Indian public sector unit.
