Children given training in dance

Bhopal, May 13: The summer is at its peak. After the school and colleges close, the children are enjoying the summer vacation. Instead of sitting idle, the children wants to learn something new during the vacation. The trend is learn something useful and new while you have fun. Summer camp is going on at several schools and colleges in the city. In these camps children are learning to painting, drawing, acting, music, dance, skating and the like.

The place is Play Way Higher Secondary School, Kotra Sultanabad. Here, dance institute Nat Bundela has organised camp for dancing and acting training for children. At the camp the children were so eager to learn dancing and acting that they were not aware what was going around them. Today they were mainly learning how to dance. Later on they will be taught how to act. The camp will be closed on June 8. The Bhopal Today Team Reporter had a chat with the teachers and students at the camp to find out about the camp and what the students are thinking about it.

Ms. Bishan Chouhan is a artist of Nat Bundela Institute. She says the camp was started on May 8 and would continue till June 8. During these days the students will be taught about dancing and acting. Several children attended the camp today, and more children will come tomorrow, she said.

Abhishek Rathor is studying in Class IX. Today I have learnt a bit about acting in drama. It is very interesting and I have decided to come every day to the camp till it closes.

Devanshi Soni is a student of Class X. 'I always wanted to become an actress. When I came to know about this summer camp where acting and dancing will be taught, I joined the camp. I have learnt something today and am sure to learn more during the coming days.

Tushar Kapoor, a student of Class VI has already taken interest in the camp. So far I was wasting time at home. I will come daily here to learn about acting and dancing, he said.

Naina Yadav studies in Class V. Now that the summer vacation is going on, I decided to learn something new instead of boring at home. I am grateful to the organisers of this camp, she said.

Anuj Shukla is a studying in Class X and is feeling well after joining the camp. I am happy that I will be able to learn how to act and dance. The teachers are very good at teaching us. I am sure, I will learn a lot on the subjects, he said confidently.
