Bhopal, May 13: The beauty of Bhopal is very enchanting. Whosoever comes here wants to live here forever. The charm of Upper Lake, Birla Mandir, Boat Club and other picnic spots is matchless. A visit to Upper Lake banks or any other picnic spot with scenic beauty in the evening helps one to forget toils and hard work of the day. That is why people throng these places as the sun starts to downslide.

It was hot and humid for the last few days and it was proving very irritating to go out in hot blazing sun. But light drizzles during the past few days gave relief to Bhopalites and made them to enjoy the cool evenings.

Sheer enjoyment among the visitors can be witnessed on the banks of Upper Lake, Shahpura Lake and also at dams such as Kaliasote.

Tourists who came to see Bhopal also are enjoying a lot and this rain and natural beauty of city is being etched in their memories.

On Tuesday evening people were seen moving around the Boat Club and taking the benefit of the pleasant weather. Almost all were at their best on the banks of Upper Lake, the jewel of the city of lakes. Some people, especially teenagers, were seen enjoying music on their mobiles along with the waves of the lake. Boating was seen as a hot favourite among all the age groups, though some enjoyed it with their family while others with their friends. Besides it photo session was also going on and with it. People were also seen taking taste of choumin, chaat, popcorn. Youngsters where enjoying a lot among all and it looked as if this place energises them. Bhopal Today Team talked to a cross section of society over the issue.

Senior manager of Boat Club, Sohail Qadir said "even though I remain busy in office work seven days a week. But whenever I have some spare time, I like to spend it in helping my colleagues out at the Boat Club. I have made it a point to remain present at the Boat Club in the evening so that my sub-ordinate staff does not face any difficulty".

According to Firdaus Khan, Boat club is a distinct place. She described it as most beautiful in his view. Whenever we make plan for outing it is boat club that attracts our family. Firdaus said that she likes sitting by lakeside. Watching waves dancing and with breeze blowing passionately makes her happy. She said that whenever she gets depressed she turns to this place to get relief. I enjoy here with my friends also, she added.

Rahul Sharma said that when in college, he used to visit this place with his friends almost daily. Now because of job it is not possible. But whenever possible I come here and this place rekindles memories of our college time. He likes playing with waves.

Aman Nizam is a resident of Lucknow and had visited a number of tourist destinations in the country. Amand said that 'Upper Lake reminds me of the Mandvi lake in Gujarat. Although he was a hydrophobic, he agreed that if he would drown in the water, friends will come to his rescue. This is his second visit to the city. He said that Bhopal is so beautiful that he wanted to visit the city again and again.

Jai Chetan Shah said that that ' When we reach Upper Lake we all forgot everything. I had been here with my family last year and am missing my family this time. He has come here five times. "I think it is really a city of lakes. Shah has also seen Bharat Bhavan, New market and the Bhopali dialect attracts him a lot.
