Courtesy upper air cycle built in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior and Chambal divisions received light rainfall, while other places recorded rise in temperature.
According to Regional Meteorological Department, Shajapur, Rajgarh and Khajuraho were the hottest place recording 42 degree Celsius. Light rainfall accompanied by thunder was expected at isolated places in all divisions in the next 24 hours.
A high of 40.6 C was recorded in the state capital, while minimum was 23.9 C. Jabalpur recorded a maximum of 40.3 C and a minimum of 27 C.
