Bhopal, May 10:
North-western Madhya Pradesh continued to
receive light rainfall resulting in a slight drop of temperature.
Showers accompanied by lightning was predicted in Indore, Bhopal,
Hoshangabad, Gwalior, Chambal and Ujjain divisions in the next 24
hours.
A regional meteorological department spokesperson said Indore,
Ujjain and Chambal divisions received light rainfall overnight.
Other areas witnessed dry weather,
Sidhi and Khajuraho was the hottest place recording 42 degree
Celsius. Maximum temperature remained below 40 C at other places.
A high of 39.2 C was recorded in the state capital, two notches
below normal, and a low of 23.9 C, one mark below normal. Maximum
temperature in Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur was 38 C, 39.4 C and
39.7 C respectively.
