Students paint environment on canvass

Bhopal, May 9: The summer is the season for summer camps. The camps are being conducted in almost every school of the city. The Jawahar Bal Bhavan is one of the most preferred for summer camps. Here, apart from other activities, training on painting is also conducted. The camp shows that there are several students who would like to know more about the art of painting. They are being taught to draw and paint on different subjects. Today, the subject given to them was 'environment' or nature. The Bhopal Today Team reporter talked to the teacher and some students to know about their interest in the subject.

Shah Bano, painting teacher teaches different kind of paintings to the students. In this summer camp, the number of students attended is more, she said. The students are of the age group of 4 to 15. She has been teaching painting to the students since 15 years and she liked her job. Today she taught the students to paint on the subject of environment. Many of the paintings by the students were very good, she said.

Afshan Rizvi studies in Class IX and has been interested in painting since her KG classes. She has so far received many prizes for her paintings. She decided to attend the camp to learn more about the art of painting. The teacher here guides the students very well. She is confident that she would learn more from this camp.

Aiman Hasan is a student of Class VII. She wishes to thank her teacher for her efforts to teach the students. She said she will learn a lot at the camp. Another thing she wanted to say was she was enjoying the camp.

Archie Modi, student of Class VIII likes to learn something during the summer vacation. 'It is boring to sit at home without doing anything. Here I have painted on different subjects. I am sure I can do painting better in future', she said.

Prasoon Jain studies in Class V. He is a student of Jawahar Bal Bhavan. He likes the school as well as the summber camp where he is learning how to make painting on different subjects.
