Children enchant audience

Bhopal, May 9: School Education Joint Director Dr. O P Sharma was the chief guest at the annual day function of the T.M.Convent Higher Secondary School. The chief guest was welcomed warmly with a bouquet. School Principal Mrs Rakhsina Khan read the annual report. The chief guest gave away prizes and certificates to the students who had placed first, second, and third in the annual examinations.

The entertainment programmes by the students were the main attraction of the function. The dance by tiny tots of nursery and K G classes ended with applause from the audience. The Kathak and Dandi dances by the children were also very much welcomed.

School secretary M S Beig praised the role of parents and said it was because of the efforts of the parents that the school progressed to this extent.

Another attraction of the function was the scientific models made by the senior students of the school. Through the models, the students explained simply the day-to-day affairs with the theory of science. Maximum models pertains to the theory with which the submarine works.

Injila Hussain, Soumya Gargav and Geeta Puri were the anchors of the programme.
