OIST students visits N-power station

Bhopal, May 8: A delegation of 24-member led Professor SL Ahirwar and Professor Yogesh Agrawal, Department of Mechanical Engineering of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and Thakral College of Technology (TCT) visited Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited Rajasthan Atomic Power Station) and Kota Thermal Power Station and they were given various information about the production of atomic power.

The Commercial officer of Atomic Power Unit said that now in the country, around 15 per cent electricity is manufactured through Thermal Power and Hydro Electricity but it has limit for the production. The mines of coal would become end after years and atomic energy is the great option for manufacturing of electricity. The students visited the various units and watched the techniques.
