From last four years Communist parties are lending their support at the Centre. It's such an irony that when Communist parties are there at Centre, inflation is going high and high, price hike has become part of every Indian. But, Communist parties are sitting idle. They are just making noise in order to make fool public that they are very serious about the price hike and inflation. Though price hike seems as a complete failure from the part of Manmohan Singh Government, it's so shameful that Communist Parties want to make themselves aloof from this blame.
It's ridiculous that they are now opposing the government on the issue of price hike. When they are a part of the Government, they must bear the same responsibility as the Government does. For the nuclear deal they can pressurize the Government and give a long list of suggestions but for inflation they do not have same power through which they can pressurize the Government.
Moreover, they are making mockery of those who elected them. When good happens they become part of the Government but when something wrong happens they start shouting saying we are giving support from outside.
Firstly, they must clarify the meaning of support from outside. For them it means - support outside. Support means enjoying benefits as well as share praise when Government does something good and outside means shedding away from responsibility when Government is in problem.
Basically, first time they are enjoying the power and its benefits at the Centre and as they do not want to get rid of this that's why they do not want to take support back from the Government.
With this one more question arises - Is it a democracy where parties which just have good rapport in two states and which sometimes lose their identity as a national party have a right to be at the Centre and are they eligible to lend their support? As democracy is all about majority.
