Online registration of properties soon

By Our Staff Reporter

Bhopal, May 7: The system of online registration of properties would soon be introduced in Indore. This information was given on the occasion of inauguration of deputy registrar's office at Sukhliya today. The office was dedicated to people by Public Works and Information Technology Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya.

Addressing the function, Shri Vijayvargiya said that this was a fresh initiative in the direction of public facilities' extension. It is endeavour of the state government to ensure that common man should not wander about for day-to-day administrative works. For this purpose, efforts are being undertaken to make such arrangements that people can have their works done sitting at home. Under this new arrangement, people would be able to use internet for getting certificates, depositing fees and taxes and get many other works done. Besides, nine thousand e-kiosks are also being set up.

Registry of land and properties in 15 wards of Indore would be made at this deputy registrar's office. A target of ten thousand documents' registration per annual has been set for this office. District Registrar informed that online registration facility would soon be introduced in the district.
