Tributes to harbinger of peace: Nirmala's death a great loss

Renowned Gandhian Nirmala Deshpande is no more. She took her last breath early in the morning on Thursday in New Delhi. She was 79. Harbinger of peace and non-violence, Nirmala Deshpande was born in 1929 in Nagpur, her father was PY Deshpande.

Revision of minimum wages: Effective implementation needed

Revision of wages for labourers of the State has been made which was pending for several years. The government has fixed minimum wages for the labourers working in 33 different sectors.
