All Star Asian Athletics Championship would be organised soon under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh Amateur Athletic Association and Sports and Youth Welfare Department at TT Nagar Stadium. More than 2000 athletics will be taking part in the championship.
After the annual general meeting, the president of the Association NS Parmar and Secretary Mumtaz Khan informed that preparations for the All Star Asian Athletics Championship has been started. Improvement work for track, long-jump and hair throw for the championship would be made at the TT Nagar Stadium.
They said, according to the decision of the association, all group athletics meet would be organised and the team of Madhya Pradesh would be established based on the demonstration, which would represent the state in the national level championship.
Apart from this, all the units, which are affiliated to the association, would have to organise District Athletics Championship essentially. Cross-Country Athletic would also be organised at Ratlam.
In the meeting, information about annual calendar was provided to the members and informed about several activities and achievements of association for the year. The representatives of 30 districts of Madhya Pradesh took part in the meeting.
Joint Secretary of the association M Murlidhar, Mohanlal Tiwari, Amanat Khan, KN Pandey, Rajendra Tomar, Pundit Parmanand Tiwari, and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
