Bhopal, May 4:
The ICFAI National College (INC) organised a workshop for the students of professional colleges. The main purpose of the workshop was to explain the prospects of career in different fields.
INC has already organised several workshops on different subjects. 160 students from different parts of the state attended the workshop. Apart from Bhopal, students came from Raipur, Jhansi, Guna, Itarsi, Gwalior, Sagar, Ratlam and Vidisha. Some students have decided to start Advertising Agency at the workshop itself. The workshop will be held on different dates between March 23 and July 5.
Pushpendra Rawat, whose concept was the workshop, informed that the workshop would open new path for the students in their career. There are lot of prospects in the field of advertising. Our aim was to provide the students a useful direction. For this purpose, we have invited senior manager in advertising and public relation. We will keep on doing our job, he added.
The Bhopal Today Team met some of the students who attended
the workshop to know their enthusiasm in the workshop.
Jeba Iqbal is a student in MBEd said the workshop taught the participants as to the prospects of career in the field of advertising. I think the field of advertising is very impressive these days. Everybody is impressed by the advertisement. I am thinking to take advertising as my career, she said.
Rajiv Rajan, an MBA student said that technology has improved a lot. TV, internet, newspaper - all are taking professional interest. If the youth enter into these fields, I am sure there would be positive change. After completion of my studies, I have decided to enter the field of advertising, he said.
Anjali Sharma is a student of MBA. 'Basically I am from Jhansi. When I came to know about the workshop, I thought of attending it to learn something', she said.
Leby Varghese is faculty internship coordinator. Today's students are very smart. What they need is just a positive direction. They are smart enough to contribute in the progress of the country. These students will go a long way in future, she said.
