Training workshop for acting, direction

Bhopal, May 4: A 15-day workshop on acting, dialogue, direction has been organised at the Anand Vihar College here. The training will help the participants to come out in the open without shyness and show their talents. College professors, students, and housewives are participating in the workshop.

The registration fee is from Rs 300 to 500. Talented artists like Raju Verma, Alaknandan, Ashok Gulani, Nirvikar, Tita Verma, and Jaya Arya are taking classes to the participants.

Today at the first session Rita Verma took classes on dramatics and dance. Jaya Arya, famous Radio Anchor explained about quality of voice and its importance in drama or serial. The Bhopal Today Team

reporter met some of the participants to know about their intentions and experience.

Poorvi Verma said she was recently married. This workshop improved her self confidence. Hesitation has also disappeared and she is trying to understand the shortcomings of acting in dramas.

Aradhna Sharma learned a lot of things from the workshop. She also learnt about the minute details of drama which she was not aware.

Geeta increased her observation power after attending the workshop. It was a chance to know in detail about the drama and dancing.

Abhilash is interested in acting since he was a child. 'When I see others on the stage, I felt the shortcoming in me. Therefore I joined the workshop which benefited me considerably.
