Bhopal, May 4: Late Madhav Rao Scindia Computer Education Institute was established by West Central Railway Institute, Bhopal. The president of Mahila Kalyan Samaj Sewa Samiti Ms Sudha Agrawal inaugurated the computer education centre on Saturday at 10.30 am to cut ribbon. She also garlanded the portrait of Goddess Saraswati and lighted the traditional lamp.

On the occasion, Ms Manisha Sharma, MS Vyas, MS Faruqui, Ashok Sharma and executive members Amit Singh, treasurer Ms Vijay Laxmi Pateria, Chakresh Kumar Jain, Mukesh Kumar Jain, Dinesh Kumar Purohit, Ashok Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and large number of eminent personalities were also present.

New assignments to senior engineers

Bhopal, May 4: Looking at the challenging task of creating irrigation and power potential in a time bound manner, Narmada Valley Development Department has come out with the strategy of deploying engineers to deserving positions and giving them greater responsibilities. In an order issued by the department, HK Asolia, SE Narmada Development Circle, Satna has been shifted to RABS project Jabalpur as SE, Designs. DK Sharma SE Narmada Development Circle No 12, Narmada Nagar has been shifted to Narmada Development Circle No 10 Manawar. Besides, 9 Executive Engineers have also been given new assignments. These are CL Aarak EE ND Division No. 21, Sanawad to EE ND Division No 13, Khandwa, SS Chaugad EE NDD No 27 Rajpur to EE Quality control Division Sanawad, Deepak Khatke EE NDD No 11 Badwani to EE Designs in the office of Chief Engineer, Indira Sagar Project (Canals) Sanawad, KK Choudhary, EE NDD No 25 Narmada Nagar to The office of CE Lower Narmada Zone Indore. OP Punjabi, EE NDD No 2, Panagar has been shifted as a EE NDD No 9, Maiher with the additional charge of SE ND Circle, Satna. RS Mandloi, EE NDD No 1, Nagod (Satna) shifted to office of the CE Lower Narmada Zone as a EE, Designs. SS Agnare, EE, NDD No 10, Sanawad to NVDA Head Quarters as EE Designs, MK Dheem, EE RABS, Division Patan to EE RABS Canal Division No 2, Gotegaon and PC Gupta, EE Designs, Circle No 12, Narmada Nagar has been shifted to the NVDA Head Quarters in the same assignment.

The Department has given the greater responsibility to 8 Executive Engineers. The Executive Engineers given the temporary charge of SE are - HR Chouhan, SE ND Circle No 9 Thikri, AK Singhal SE Designs NVDA Bhopal, BK Vasnik SE. Designs, Lower Narmada Zone, Indore, Mod Singh Tomar SE ND Circle No 1 Khargone, Channulal Marape, SE, RABS Canal Circle, Kareli. Prem Kumar Nahar, SE, ND Circle No 7, Khargone, Vinod Deoda, SE Upper Narmada zone Jabalpur and BL Tantuvai, SE, Circle No 6, Katni. The officers have been asked to take over their new assignments within a week's time. The Vice Chairman of NVDA, Pradeep Bhargava has said that forward planning system has been introduced for each project. The authority would closely monitor the performance of engineers, especially of those who have been given the greater and challenging responsibilities. He asked engineers to put their best in completing the various ambitious projects of the valley. "We want to see all our engineers to be outcome oriented" Bhargava added.
