BJP to review party leaders' work

Bhopal, May 4: Before giving away the party tickets to contest in the fast approaching Assembly election, Bharatiya Janata Party will review works undertaken by party leader in his/her area.

The statement was made by Bharatiya Janata Party state-president Narendra Singh Tomar in Jabalpur on Friday. Tomar ruled out possibility of party denying tickets of many sitting MLAs and Ministers as reported by a section of newspaper.

Instead of denying party tickets to sitting MLAs and Ministers, party will do over-all assessment and review various developmental work being taken by such leaders in there areas.

In the up coming working committee meeting of the party, progress of various developmental work being taken by the Government will be reviewed, he added. The BJP working committee meeting is slated to take place on May 13-14 in Bhopal.
