Nursery class is an introductory learning class for a small child to get himself acquainted with school environment. He has to remember few nursery rhymes, few alphabets, simple drawings and play activities. Promotion to the next class is just a formality. To ask the parents for the supplementary examination for the child and that too after producing a medical certificate is something never heard of.

Many of the schools and teachers therein are not at all versed with the growth and intellectual development of the child. I am afraid if these teachers are questioned on the subjects they teach, many of them will get supplementary.
