Bhopal, Apr 30: Power consumers in the state capital, nearby Misrod and Mandideep would be able to pay bills online from Thursday following a contract between the Central Region Power Distribution Company and MP Online, official sources said.

Applications for fresh connections may be submitted at kiosks authorised by MP Online - the official portal of the Madhya Pradesh government.

MPCC Minorities Wing executive dissolved

Bhopal, Apr 30: The state, district and block-level executive of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee's Minorities Wing have been dissolved.

''The step was taken to give place to fresh faces in view of this year's assembly elections. Women will be given due representation in the fresh executive,'' Minorities Wing President Haji Mohammad Haroon said here today.
