Government to rein in inflation: FM 

Chennai, Apr 26:
Under pressure from the Opposition as well as its key allies, the Government on Saturday hinted at more steps to bring down prices of essential commodities and rein in inflation.

Dulhasti (J&K), Apr 26:
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today dedicated the 390 MW Dulhasti hydel power project in Jammu and Kashmir to the nation and promised "maximum help" from the Centre for multifarious development of the state.
 
Govt to import more cement if required  

New Delhi, Apr 26:
The government on Saturday said it will import more cement, if necessary, to address the demand-supply mismatch in the domestic market and check any rise in prices.
