Bhopal, Apr 26: Summer training camp would be organised under the aegis of Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh from May 1 to 31, 2008 as every year (which is organised), such decision has been taken. This camp will be organised in the districts of Madhya Pradesh, where the facilities about infrastructure of sports, coach and players will be available. The District officer of Sports and Youth Welfare Department and District Education officer will be the chief coordinator of district level Summer Training Camp.

Both the departments are taking help from the active sports public representatives, Member of Parliament (MP), Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), President of District Panchayat, Sarpanch, Prestigious Traders (Business Personalities), Senior Journalist, National and International level players for successfully organising the Summer Training Camp in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh.

Around 60000 players of Madhya Pradesh took part in the last Summer Training Camp. Several talented players can be got through the training camp. It is mentioned that the atmosphere of Sports is being made in Madhya Pradesh and State Government also established six academies in several parts of Madhya Pradesh. The players of the state got 63 medals in National Championships. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan organised Sports Panchayat recently for the better development of sports.
