In a 'cheerful' development for the spectators at Wankhede Stadium, Navi Mumbai Police Commisoiner Ramrao Wagh said that the cheerleaders in IPL matches would be allowed to perform during the matches.

Under-fire hockey supremo KPS Gill today hit back at Sports Minister M S Gill for suggesting that younger adminstrators should head sports federations, saying younger people should first become Sports Minister.

Zeecric Bureau Pakistan's all-rounder Shahid Afridi, who fetched the highest bid price for a Pakistani player of USD 675,000 didn't agree with the concept of skimpily clad cheerleaders dancing during matches, terming it 'a big distraction' for players.

ICC shifts annual conference to Dubai

In a departure from almost a century-old tradition, the ICC annual conference will not take place in it's spiritual home at the Lord's but at the game's world governing body's Dubai headquarters in June.
