Three minor irrigation schemes sanctioned

Bhopal, Apr 25: The State Government have accorded sanction for three minor irrigation schemes for Gwalior, Guna and Ashok Nagar districts. Costing Rs 5.24 crore these schemes would create irrigation potential on 620 hectares of land after completion.

As per the break up, administrative sanction of Rs 1.24 crore has been given for Hanupura Tank Scheme of Ghatigaon block in Gwalior district. The scheme would provide irrigation facility on 120 hectares of land annually.

Similarly, sanction of Rs 1.89 crore has been accorded for Laharghat stop dam scheme of Guna district and sanction of Rs 2.84 crore for Pachlana tank scheme of Isagarh block in Ashok Nagar district. Both the schemes would create irrigation potential on 500 hectares of land.
