Airhostess, Flight Steward training for reserved category

Bhopal,April 22: The state government has sanctioned scholarships to candidates belonging to reserved category for undergoing training of Airhostess and Flight Steward. Scholarship to the tune of Rs one lakh each would be given during the year 2008-09 to candidates belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes on selection for these training courses.

The state government has selected Frankfinn Institute, Bhopal for conducting this training. Desirous candidates must send their applications in prescribed proforma by May 26.

As per the rules set by Aviation Department of the state government, the candidate must be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh, should be between 17 and 24 years of age, should have passed class XII or equivalent exam and his parents' annual income must not exceed Rs five lakh. The candidates would be selected by Frankfinn Institute. Training would be imparted either at Bhopal or at Jabalpur or Indore. No fees or expenses for training, uniform, text-books etc would be charged from the selected candidates by the institute but they would have to make arrangements for food and lodging themselves.
