PM favoures better pay for defence, civil services

Allaying apprehensions among government servants over the
Pay Commission recommendations, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
on Monday said he favoured proper remuneration for the civil
and defence services.

Centre's fiat to MP for wheat import

The Union government on Monday directed four states including
the government of Madhya Pradesh, to import wheat from the
