Bhopal, Apr 21: The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Buddhist Employees Union of the Reserve Bank of India has celebrated the Dr. Babasahed Ambedkar Birth Anniversary here on April 14 last.

RBI's regional director Sourabh Sinha presided over the function. Sourabh Sinha and RBI Bhopal Deputy General Manager VS Damodar garlanded the photo of Ambedkar and lit the traditional lamp while inaugurating.

Employees Union general secretary Prithviraj Raipure, vice president bS Swamy, and others offered flowers to Ambedkar's photo. Miss Vishakha Birhade wrote a poem on the life of Dr. Ambedkar and sang it. Her song was appreciated by one and all.

Several competitions on Ambedkar Jayanty were organised at the RBI residential colony. Chief Guest, Rajesh Sharma and RBI Deputy General Manager V S Damodar gave away prizes to the winners of the competition and the talented students of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Buddhists.
