Bhopal, Apr 19: Now there is no need to go to any Hill Station to spend your vacation. There is plenty of entertaining places in our city too.

The Kamla Nehru Children park has been a place of attraction to the children, the youth and the aged persons. Even the aged persons behave like children here. The toy train here is the main attraction to the children. The 'swinging bridge' or 'Laxman Bridge' is another attraction to all. In summer children throng to this park in the evening. Along with children, their parents also come to enjoy. In winter season, the park is open in day -time to take advantage of the sunshine. Deepak Singh, who came with his children enjoy the park like his children. He says it reminds him his childhood and I too become a child and enjoy with my children.

There are a lot of items here to amuse the children. The toy train, the slippery slope in the shape of an elephant, the swinging bridge, the lake and the vast garden are some which are liked by the children and the aged alike. During winter children engage themselves in other games too.

Aditya Singh, student of 6th class says kamla Nehru Park is the best in the city. He enjoys the toy train and the slippery slope made in the shape of elephant.

Yash Chourasia is a kid studying in KG class. He enjoys the toy train than anything else. He says he is a regular visitor of the park with his parents.

Amit Ranjan is a military man. He says whenever he come from duty on leave, he visits the place with his children.

Children and toys are inseparable

What will the children do in summer vacation. What to do or where to go. What sort of play they should engage in to pass the time. These are some of the questions faced by the children during summer vacation. During vacation there is no need to go to school or study. Colourful toys are their favourite companion in their free time. Taking advantage of the situation, the shopkeepers are also storing different kinds of toys to attract the children. Yo-Yo, Sonu monu, Bangal Kid, mechanic Items, Baby Doll, Hanuman, krishna, hotwheel, are some of the toys more in demand. As the time changes, so also the taste of the children. Now bus, jeep, car, aeroplane, etc are coming with remote control.Suresh Thakur, owner of Rim Toys showroom at New Market says he has stored several type of toys in his shop. He says the children like the Chinese toys and they are in demand. He has been running this business since last 10 years. Due to vacation, he is having good business these days, he added.
