Businessman shot at

Bhopal, Apr 18: A businessman was attempted to murder opening fire on Thursday night in Pari Bazar, old city. The businessman received serious injuries at his waist and thigh. He was admitted in a private hospital at Peergate.

The three motorcycle borne riders after committing crime fled towards Prabhu Nagar. Shahjehanabad police have registered attempt to murder case against the unknown attackers.

According to police, Sevakram Ahuja(48), resident of 92, Neelkanth Colony , Idgah Hills has his grocery shop in Jumerati.

Yesterday night he was returning to home after closing his shop at 10pm riding on his scooter MP/04/NG-0339.

He heard noise of fire crackers when he reached near Pari Bazar at around 10.15. He saw that three youths were following him riding on a motorcycle. One of the youths had a revolver in his hand.

Sevakram again heard noise of fire crackers. He turned his scooter towards main road. When the bike riders saw the businessman going towards main road they fled towards Prabhu Nagar.

Sevakram when reached near main road he saw his clothes were stained with blood and soar on right leg was bleeding. He then made a phone call to his brother, Manoharlal Ahuja and told about the incident. He was admitted in Care Well hospital near Peergate.

Police official, Solanki said that the attackers opened two fire at the businessman. Fire was opened with country made gun or revolver. Police teams have been sent in different areas to arrest the accused.

Youth stabbed over petty dispute

Bhopal, Apr 18: Two youths made an attempt to murder on their companion on a trivial dispute at Annu Nagar, Nishatpura on Friday morning. According to police, Gaffar Khan (39) resident of Annu Nagar, Diler Khan of the same locality and Yusuf, resident of Arif Nagar are friends. They used to take liquor and drugs together.

On Friday morning the trio gathered at the residence of Gaffar Khan. Meanwhile, Diler and Yusuf demanded Rs 50 from Gaffar. When Gaffar denied the amount both of them attempted to murder him by stabbing.

Gaffar received serious injuries in his belly and head. Later he was admitted to Hamidia hospital. The accused fled from the scene after the incident.
