Bhopal, Apr 18: Mayor, Sunil Sood along with municipal commissioner, Nikunj Kumar Shrivastava and additional commissioner, Arvind Dubey with a view to ensuring drinking water arrangement reviewed in zone 8 and 12 and gave necessary directives to the officials. Local corporators and zonal officers and water supply officials were present in the meeting.

Sood directed to the officials to provide sufficient water supply in all the wards under zone 8. He talked the officials about the supplying water through tankers in ward No. 64 and strictly directed about availability of drinking water.

The corporators gave their suggestions in the review meeting. City engineer, Sunil Shrivastava, Corporator and MIC member, Mohammed Saghir, Corporator and zone chairman, Malti Rai , Corporator, DK Saxena, Corporator, Vandana Jachak and assistant engineer, sub engineer, supervisor and other officials involved in water supply were present in the meeting.

Mayor, Sunil Sood during the review meeting in zone 12 directed the officials to make survey for new bore and to provide sufficient water supply through water sources. He received the information about the progress of laying pipe line under ADB and JNMRM yojna.

Municipal Corporation commissioner, Nikunj Kumar Shrivatava directed to take action against those who misuse water taking illegal connection. City engineer(liquid), Sunil Shrivastava, Executive Engineer, Sharad Jain, Corporator and zone chairman, Tulsa Verma, Corporators, Mamta Tiwari, Sanjay Sahu, Gautam More and zonal officer, SC Mehta along with assistant engineer, sub engineer and other employees were present in the meeting.
