No evidence of cartelisation!

The government today said there is no evidence of cartelisation by the steelmakers and that there is no "formal proposal" to set up a regulator for the sector.

Trying hard to combat price rise, the government today received some respite with the inflation rate easing to 7.14 per cent during the first week of the current financial year.

A saffron-clad monk entered a reputed math in the heart of the city on Wednesday evening and stabbed to death two sanyasins, one of them the head of the order.
