Bhopal, Apr 17: The birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir was celebrated under the aegis of Pretty Petals Group of Foundation Schools on Thursday at Itwara and Arera Colony. On the occasion, tiny tots of the schools garlanded on the portrait of Lord Mahavir and paid tribute.

They also took pledge (oath) to follow on the way of non-violence. On the occasion, the Principal of the school Ms Anshika S Keswani informed to the tiny tots about the autobiography of Lord Mahavir.

Children's song enthrall all

The audience at the Bhopal Haat were enthralled when the young singers of Abhilasha Kala Kendra sung the song 'Chhoo lo Aasman...' It was unique programme where the boys and girls sang the song to the liking of one and all. Surabhi Mehra, Swati Mishra, Minal Guhe, Poorva Saraswat, Siddharth Parashar, Yavar Khan, Amisha Malviya, Asmita Sharma, Jini Thomas, Amit Malviya were the young singers.
