Bhopal Today Team
Bhopal, Apr 17: These are the women of today independent,
confident, carrying a positive attitude towards life. Each
one of them has created their own world and none of them would
like to leave their job, if given an option, which explains
about their strong will power and determination. The woman
of today may be described as someone who believes that nothing
is impossible if you have intelligence and nothing unachievable
if your will is firm. Bhopal Today Team talked to some of
them to know more about their views and lives.
Bhopal Today Team 's first interaction was with a group
of women working for State Bank of India. Let's see as to
what they have to say.
Anjana Bhagwat, Senior Assistant regards her working status as very important. This not only gives a kind of satisfaction but has helped me in creating my own identity. I have the support of my family and with God's grace until now I have been successful in handling both my home and work quite well.
Vaishali Sharma, Senior Assistant says that every woman should go ahead with the idea of being working. She suggests that the young girls of today too should opt for a professional life. Perhaps all of them are moving towards this thought but they should be mentally prepared to manage both fronts, so as to do justice. She is happy with her job but at times she do misses those small talks and some very precious moments with her children.
Manisha Raikwar, Senior Assistant opines that with the standard of living soaring each day, a working woman is able to lend financial support to her husband. Everything is so costly these days, that working has become a must for every lady.
Sharmila Thakur, Special Assistant says that my working status does adds up to the financial strength but it's difficult to equally manage both home and office. Due to the amount of time spend in this profession I am unable to take that much care of my family and somewhere down the line there's also a guilt feeling of leaving your children alone.
Anjali Kumar, Special Assistant loves her job. It was because of my being working woman that today my daughters are in foreign countries making a mark in their respective fields. Had I not been so educated and professional I might not have been convinced with the idea of sending my daughters to a different land.
Mrs Akshara Mali, a schoolteacher says that the field of education is so well suited for women. We are able to work and give enough time to our family as well, so its not at all difficult for me. I like teaching, apart from being independent I get respect and admiration from my students is like icing on the cake.
Mrs Geeta Khurna, a resident of Kolar road is running a beauty parlour since nine years, actually my husband encouraged me and it was after marriage that I started working. In this business one gets enough time as we usually work from home, so you are always there when your family needs you.
