Rs 4.39 cr sanctioned for 300 posts of hostels

Bhopal, Apr 17: The state cabinet has sanctioned Rs 4.39 crore which is to be spent on 300 posts of hostels for scheduled caste students.

Sanction has been given to three hundred posts for imparting proper education to students belonging to scheduled caste students and running 60 pre-matric boys/girls hostels of 50 seats capacity each. These include 60 posts of male and female superintendents of contractual teacher grade-II, 180 posts of Class-IV employees and 60 posts of sanitary workers. Rs 4,39,36,500 has been sanctioned to meet the recurring and non-recurring expenses on these posts.

These posts would be filled through concerning District Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and civic body.

According to the decision taken by the state cabinet, priority in appointment on these posts would be given on the basis of qualification to the dependants of murdered SC\ST persons as per the provisions of Prevention of Atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes Act.

Oilfed plant on dry lease

The state cabinet has also decided to give Oilfed's plant on dry lease. The cabinet has decided to start the process of giving these plant for five-year lease by inviting Expression of Interest (EOI) with a view to maintaining status quo of Madhya Pradesh State Oilseeds Co-operative Federation's (Oilfed) assets and liabilities.

Share capital of Tourism Dev Corpn to be increased

The cabinet has given sanction to increase Rs five crore in the authorised share capital of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation.

In the wake of this decision, the authorised share capital of the corporation would go up to Rs 30 crore from Rs 25 crore.
