People's
Democratic Party (PDP) chief and former Jammu & Kashmir
Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayed is again in the news for
wrong reasons - this time for controversial statement. Political
observers feel this is part of his election stunt. He should
know that this type of statement comes under the purview of
anti-national activities. In a rally organised he demanded
that the Pakistani currency should be made valid in Kashmir
too. Perhaps, Mufti is unaware of the meaning of nationality
and sovereignty. It is to be watched what comes from him next.
Mufti thinks that India should show an example among the South
Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries
on the lines of European Union by permitting the Pakistani
currency in Kashmir. Even an idiot could understand the meaning
of his statement that Mufti considers Kashmir as separate
from India. It looks as if Mufti is not clear in mind about
Kashmir - often he is asking full autonomy and now permitting
of Pakistani currency. The Pakistan occupied Kashmir is also
part of the Kashmir. India still considers the PoK as part
of the country. Running of other country's currency is like
supporting the claims of that country. Cases of anti-national
activities should be registered against those who act and
say against the national interests. Mufti should go to Pakistan
as he thinks only about the interests of that country. These
sorts of cheap mentality for getting votes means Mufti is
mentally weak. Anyway, such statements should not be taken
lightly. The statement should be taken in all the seriousness
it deserves and suitable action taken against Mufti
