Kids wear too become trendy

Bhopal Today Team

Bhopal, Apr 15: The children of the TV generation do not lag behind in choosing trendy dresses these days. They pressurise their parents to purchase them clothes as worn by their favourite characters of TV serials like Shaktimaan, Superman, Hanuman and Power Puff Girls.

Keeping in view the children's new found interest in latest fashion trends, the readymade garment shops are providing a whole range of trendy dresses for them.

These days various conferences are being organised for the good appearance of children. They are also demanding stylish and trendy clothes. Many companies are also taking interest according to the mood of the children and are making different varieties of clothes for the kids.

However, parents are worried over the latest trend and mood of their children vis a vis clothing. There are many reasons behind it. The parents who are of traditional nature fear that what their children, especially girls, are wearing now may become their habit and they might wear similar clothes which are not easily accepted in the Indian society. Another worry is the budget. The kids' clothes are generally costlier that they clothes of the adults. Furthermore, kids' clothes become useless after one year as they grow fast. This throws the parents' budget out of gear.

Vibha, a housewife, said, 'My daughter is eight years old and she wears stylish clothes. My daughter has been affected by the TV Channels and she wants to wear clothes as worn by artistes of TV serials. Vibha accepted that she does not like to purchase costly clothes for her daughter because fashion, style and trends change fast and the costly dresses purchased for children become outdated soon.
