MCOH Care Programme held

As a part of nation wide "Mother and Child Oral Health Programme" with the aim of promoting and improving the Oral Health of Mother and Child in the Armed Forces, Sudarshan Chakra Corps Dental Unit and Military Dental Centre Bairagarh organised a similar programme under the aegis of Army Wife's Welfare Association on April 11.
Ms Sunita Khanna, President of Army Wife's Welfare Association was the chief guest of the programme. Lecture in Hindi, followed by a documentary film on Oral Health Care Educated the huge gathering of ladies about prevention and corrective measures to achieve better Oral Health. This was followed by a Quiz Contest on Oral Health, which generated enthusiastic response.
Free distribution of Oral Health Education Pamphlets, brochures and oral hygiene aids was done. The programme was summed up by Col SK Gupta, CO Dental Unit, who thanked all the ladies for the stupendous success and promised follow up action of screening mothers and children in future to ensure a sound Oral Health for both.
