Bhopal, Apr 14: On the occasion of the 117th birth anniversary of Bharatratna Dr Baba Sahib Ambedkar, BHEL SC and ST Employees Association organised a programme at Ambedkar Park, Berkhera. RK Singh, Executive Director, MC Prasad, General Manager (HR), office bearers of Association, representatives from various Trade Unions and residents from Township were present in the programme in large number. Singh, Prasad, senior officials and all present offered garlands to the statue of Dr Ambedkar.

Singh in his address said how Baba Saheb revolutionized the Indian society and awakened the people with his charismatic leadership. A role model for the millions, Baba Saheb wanted to see a prosperous and vibrant India where everyone is equal and no one is debarred from any facility because of his caste. He strongly favoured changes in the society to make it strong and sustainable.

Singh also quoted Upanishads and other religious texts which assimilated changes for the betterment of the society. He asked the people to serve the country selflessly like Baba Saheb.

Prasad in his address said that if someone is committed towards some goal, no power in the world can stop him or her from reaching the destination. Emphasizing on the need of education, he said that after education, one must think for his fellow persons also. People shuld be united to uplift the weaker sections of the society. He further said that in the present scenario, technical education should be given priority.

Ambedkar Jayanti at PCC office

The Congress delegates organised a programme on the occasion of 117th birth anniversary at state Congress office and offered tributes to the Masiah of Dalits, Dr Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.

The delegates said that Dr Ambedkar was firm that there is need to revolutionary change in social change along with the efforts of change in political level.

PCC general secretary,Rajiv Singh, Ashok Jain Bhabha, Mayor, Sunil Sood , Zaheer Ahmed, PC Sharma, JP Dhanopia, Hazi Haroon, Chhota Babu Rai, Jaganlal Jhanjhot and other congress activists were present on the occasion.

BJP celebrates SC reservation right day

Bharatiya Janta Party Scheduled Caste cell celebrated reservation right day on the occasion of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jayanti offering floral tributes to the creator of Indian Constitution.

Rallies were taken out in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar and Rewa divisions' districts and the leaders addressed public meetings.

Dr Satyanarayan Jatia, Thawarchand Gehlot, Narayan Singh Kesri, Pooran Singh Palaiya, Virendra Kumar, Ashok Argal, Lal Singh Arya in their joint statement said that the population of Scheduled caste community has increased from 15 per cent to 16 per cent.

Congress led UPA government including converted dalit Christians and Mohammedan in the SC quota committing conspiracy. BJP SC cell would organise a big rally in May month to oppose it and would gherao parliament.

On the occasion of ceremony the senior BJP leader, Babulal Gour, Rameshwar Sharma, Alok Sanjar, Imratlal Dharmik, Ramprakash Vanshkar offered floral tributes to Baba Saheb Ambedkar and said that he was a great Hindu leader.

Dalit Panther takes out vehicle rally

A vehicle rally was taken out on the occasion of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar birth anniversary under the leadership of state president of Dalit Panther, RK Mahale. The Ambedkarites were given pamphlets in which the dalit panther mentioned the policies of state BJP government against Dalits. RK Mahale, Vijay Patil Bouddh, Bhaskar Gaikwad, advocate LB Patil, SB Nagda, Nisha Bouddh, Shobha Dongre and several other activists paid their floral tributes to Dr Ambedkar.

BHEL block Congress Committee

BHEL block Congress committee SC cell celebrated 117th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar at Petrol Pump Square. The party activists offered their tributes garlanding the photo of Dr Ambedkar. Prakash Choudhary, Chatur Singh Ahirwar, Mangilal Chouksey, Rambabu Sharma, Govardhan Malviya, JK Pathak, BD Kotia and others were present on the occasion.

Ambedkar statue unveiled

Bharat Ratna ,Dr BR Ambedkar's statue was unveiled in Kailash Nagar, Govindpura. The BJP activists and citizens remembering Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar offered floral tributes on the statue. Deputy leader of opposition in Municipal Corporation, Mukesh Rai, former corporator, Chtan Singh, PK Gajbhiye, Umesh Shrivas and Suryakant Gupta were present on the occasion. The stage and statue was established with the cooperation of local residents and corporator's fund. Ravi Vankar, Ramesh Bhalerao, Shankar Swami, Ajij Bhai, Abhishek Salve, Tulsidar Jijhotia, Basant Brahmane, Bunty Yadav and others were present on the occasion.

Floral tributes were offered to Bharat Ratna, creator of constitution, messiah of dalits and deprived class, Dr Baba Saheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar's 117th birth anniversary. The state and district delegates garlanded on the statue of Dr Ambedkar at Board Office Square, MP Nagar, Bhopal.

Literary organisation,Guldasta celebrated 117th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar in Guldasta Bhawan Chawni. Programme was presided over by Kamil Behjadi and organisation president and former corporator, Md.Rais Khan conducted it. MPCC general secretary, advocate ,Saiyyad Sazid Ali was the chief guest on the occasion.

Buddhist Society of India

Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar's 117th birth anniversary was celebrated with great fervour at Karuna Buddh Vihar, Tulsi Nagar under the auspices of The Buddhist Society of India. Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Sunil Sood was present on the occasion as special guest. Sood garlanded the statue of Dr Ambedkar and lit lamp. Bhante, B Suman performed Buddha Vandana on the occasion. Programme was presided over by the president of The Buddhist Society of India, Chandrabodhi Patil. In his address he appealed to follow the ideology of Dr Ambedkar.

Ambedkar Sangharsh Samanvaya Samiti

State president of Dr Ambedkar Sangharsh Samanvaya Samiti, Vijay Patil Bouddh with the activists of samiti garlanded the statue of Dr Baba Saheb BR Ambedkar at Board Office Square on the occasion of his 117th birth anniversary. He said that Dr Ambedkar was premier angel of right revolution. He would be remembered for ever about his work.

Cultural programmes organised

Savitri Shakti Peeth organised cultural programme on the occasion of Ram Navami, Baisakhi and birth anniversary of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar at its office on Monday. On this occasion various cultural programmes like folk song, national song, Punjabi folk dance were presented. Samiti President Ms Ranjana Sharma said artists from urban and countryside were participated. She added that this chain of cultural function had been started from Gudi Padwa, Hindu New Year at various places.

Congress Sevadal

On the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar District Congress Sevadal garlanded Dr Ambedkar's statue and paid homage to him. On this occasion Abdul Qureshi, Shyamlal Mathur, Khalid Hafij, Hemraj Bhandari, Shyamsunder and other members were presented.

Madhav Jyoti organised a meeting in the memories of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar at its office on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar on Monday. The meeting was presided over by organisation former President Asamat Sidhikee. Sidhikee encourage youth to profess the values and principals practiced by Dr Baba Saheb.
