Three players of MP selected: World Master Swimming Championship

Bhopal, Apr 13: The 12th Feena World Masters' Championship would be organised at Parth, Australia from April 17 to 25. Three players of Madhya Pradesh have been selected in Indian team for taking part in the championship. It was informed by the President of Madhya Pradesh Swimming Association Bhawanishankar Sharma here. He said that the three players of Madhya Pradesh as OP Awasthy, who bagged three gold medals in National Swimming Championship, which was organised in Mumbai.

The second player is RD Jha, who bagged three gold medals, one silver and third is Sunil Tiwari, who bagged four gold medals. Sunil Tiwari and OP Awasthy also bagged gold medals in Madhya Pradesh Civil Service Swimming Championship and RD Jha is coach of Sports Authority of India (SAI).

The president of Madhya Pradesh Swimming Association Bhawanishankar Sharma, Deepak Joshi, President of Madhya Pradesh BJP Sports Cell, JP Saxena, and other national players as Dr Vikram Batham, Dr KC Raikwar, Ashok Singh, Ramkumar Khilrani, Senior Manager of Prakash Tarun Pushkar Prakash Shrivastava, Coach Supriyo Chaudhari, Manoj Karaiya and Ashish Arth congratulated and extended wishes to them for the excellent performance.
