Indo Nissin Foods Ltd, the premier instant Noodles manufacturer and subsidiary of Nissin Food Products Co Ltd, Japan (Nissin) announced its decision to set up its own distribution network in the Indian market, starting from this April.
Indo Nissin Foods Ltd (INF), owner of the popular instant Noodle brands- `TOP RAMEN' and `CUP NOODLES' has decided to set up its own distribution network in India. Presently, INF is distributing its various products through Marico Ltd's Sales & Distribution network. INF launched its operations in the Indian market in 1991.
Since 1998, INF is distributing its brands nationwide through Marico Ltd, Marico has been instrumental in accelerating the sale of INF's products through its wide distribution network, with sales hitting a record growth of 40% this financial which could be termed as phenomenal by industry standards.
Nissin is bullish on the Indian market and has concrete plans to make substantial investment to achieve robust growth in the coming years.
The changing trends in the scenario of Indian Instant Noodles market, especially the changing pattern of Instant Noodles consumption by the Indian consumers is one of the main reasons for INF to set up own distribution network. This will enable them to cater to this dramatically increasing consumer demand across the country.
