CM to open Vardhman Fabric unit

Bhopal, April 12: The premier cloth producers, Vardhman group is going to establish its biggest integrated textile mill which would be inaugurated by the state Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan at 3.30pm today.

This programme would be presided over by Minister for Industries and Environment, Jayant Malaiya at factory premises in Budhni.

This factory of Vardhman group would produce 4 crore metre cloth every year which is based on advanced plants and modern technology, situated on Budhni-Rehti road.

This is the 20th unit of Vardhman group in India and third in the MP which would start its production in record time with investment of Rs 800 crore initial capital investment.

Production of yarn in two units viz Anant Spinning Mill, Mandideep and Vardhman Yarns in Satlapur, is continue.

The capacity of 60 thousand sprindle and open and spinning, 400 modern looms and 6 crore metre world class processed fabric has been established.

Company has established its 24mw thermal power plant here which supply continuous electricity to the factory.

At around 2000 employees would work in this process house of Vardhman unit. Under the encouraging industrial policy of government of MP and with the received facilities and Government of India's textile upgradation fund and easy availability of capital the company could establish this unit.

Board of directors of the group including chairman of the company, SP Oswal have expressed thanks to government of MP, Government of India, local district administration and citizens of Budhni.

They have expressed hope that as a result of liberal industrial policy of government of MP and with the encouragement of district administration this area would emerge as an important industrial centre of the country.
